Today I received an e-mail addressed to “Dear Adobe software owner” [HOW PERSONAL!!!]
Please take note that Adobe has discontinued development and sales of Adobe® GoLive® web authoring software. This decision – effective April 28, 2008 – was made so we can focus our development efforts and sales resources on Adobe Dreamweaver® software, our web design and development application.
There was more to the e-mail but I didn’t finish scanning the first paragraph. I like to scan text when bullet points are not available. There were bullet points in the e-mail but I had to scan through two paragraphs of blah blah blah. Who has time for that?
I can’t say I’m sorry to see GoLive fade into memory, I haven’t touched the software since Coda was released. Bless Adobe’s heart just the same.

When I bought CS2, GoLive was bundled with it--and it basically sucks the donkey. I've never heard of Coda before. See? I learn something new every day. Look at the good you do, Boo.
