Like every New Year, I like to start the duration of winter with a music mix for friends. I never thought so many of my friends would look forward to my Winter Mix but look forward they do. My 2010 Winter Mix is an eclectic journey through classics and emerging artists, 60 tracks in all. If there was a theme to choose this year’s mix, it’d be the influence Justin’s had on my music experience (and vice versa). For over a month now I’ve been combing through my iTunes music library that nears 160GB. I haven’t loaded my entire music library into iTunes but my goal is to listen to every song I own so I can begin reducing what I own. I Only Said When You Sleep You Never Should (When You Wake) You’re Still In A Dream Cigarette In Your Bed Come In Alone Only Shallow Thorn Nothing Much To Lose To Here Knows When Slow Soon Feed Me With Your Kiss You Made Me Realise No encore was necessary after that 90-minute set of glorious sound. I was a little disheartened not to hear “Honey Power” but the set delivered, especially for a band I last heard live 16 years ago.
Don’t be daft, punk.
